By controlling your breathing, you can better regulate your physiological and psychological responses to stress and pressure. Our ability to execute under pressure is enhanced when we know how to breathe in a controlled manner to down regulate our physiology and calm the mind in real time. 

Physiology

By utilising specific breathing techniques, you can increase your tolerance for high levels of carbon dioxide and low levels of oxygen. Through the specialised Oxygen Advantage training, you can increase oxygen uptake through breath-holding techniques that simulate high-altitude training. Our ability to exercise faster and further with each breath is enhanced when we have a higher aerobic capacity (with oxygen) and anaerobic capacity (without oxygen).

Mechanics

You can improve your ability to breathe efficiently by strengthening and training your connection with the diaphragm. As a result of strengthening the primary respiratory muscles, you will be able to gain a higher level of control, endurance, strength, and power. Strong breathing muscles enable us to improve performance and breath efficiently under stress.
